Why you need to read Among Shadows:
This is definitely a book you don’t want to miss. Among Shadows is a fantastic debut full of betrayal, secrets and lies, while constantly making you wonder: who can you trust? Love how it had me second-guessing the characters true intentions as our main heroine desperately tried to hold together the world she once knew.
It also has a strong female friendship which is something I adore and always crave when reading through fantasy. While I also love reading books with romance (this book has a budding romance on the horizon), I just appreciate it a lot when books focus on all types of relationships. And Among Shadows does this spectacularly!
And the magic system is so intriguing, elemental magic but make it DARK. Highly looking forward to the sequel!
