Reading update: Frost and Death
Frost and Death happens to be the last book I’ll be reading for September (and perhaps my first read of October if I don’t finish tonight) but I’m happy to report that I’m LOVING IT so much!! With its stunning setting, mystery & fairytale vibes, this Snow Queen retelling is ✨magical✨ and one you NEED to add to your TBR!
The story starts with a very secluded young queen, Tove. After loosing her family, she must do all in her power to keep her kingdom afloat, which also includes improving the opinion of the people towards her. And what better way to achieve that than by marrying a suitable candidate to secure a powerful & beneficial alliance?
I really, really like Tove. She’s resilient despite her grief. Her determination to save the kingdom FROM herself. This is the kind of character I happily cheer for and become invested for their emotional wellbeing.

Honestly, I very much look forward to seeing her come into full control of her power that turned the entire kingdom into a frozen mess. And fine, will also admit that the balls, pretty dresses, an a certain dark handsome stranger has me wanting to drop everything to keep on reading.
And can we gush over this fantastic cover? I am so in love with it, it’s SO PERFECT. 😭❄️
So if you like Disney’s Frozen but wanted a fantasy romance focus with arranged marriage & spice, you will definitely like this one!
