Why you need to read The Plated Prisoner series:
I finally caught up with the third book in The Plated Prisoner series and omg, that ending. The twists keep on coming and we’re loving how much Auren has grown throughout the series. Her journey is full of heartbreak and abuse, but it’s just amazing how much she fights.
As mentioned in my previous reviews of the series (read my Gild review here), this story is about abuse and being seen as a possesion instead of a living being. It’s a story about greed and avarice, and of those that use their power for their own gain. It’s a messy, complicated story with so many dark themes, but also rewards you with great characters that finally welcome Auren with warmth and support. It’s a ride to read through for sure!
Full of romance, betrayal, FAE MAGIC, & characters that you cannot help but love (and others that you absolutely HATE), the next installment in this series cannot come soon enough!!
