Posted September 18, 2018 by Melissa in Updates / 6 Comments

Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!

Whoa, it’s been such a LONG time since I last did a The Week’s Entrée post! I have three excuses:

One, we have had massive storms with floods so that has made my Internet a bit wonky!

Two, work work work!

And THREE (and the most exciting of all) is that I’m now the proud co-owner of MTMC Tours! My best friend and partner in crime, Becky from The Life of a Booknerd Addict, and I have teamed up to create a Creative Book Tour company!

I did this logo too! Yay, me! We are super super excited to have opened this book tour company that is all about sharing the love of YA books on Bookstagram AND Book Blogs! If you are a book blogger and/or a bookstagrammer, you can sign up to be a host and we’ll email you with amazing bookish opportunities! One epic cover reveal is coming our way soon so be sure to sign up!!! And if you are an author, you can check out our services HERE.

In other news…

On September 28th we are hosting our next #MTMC18 chat! Our special guest will be Jade, the main character of KINGDOM OF THE BLAZING PHOENIX by Julie C. Dao! Jade will be taking over Julie’s Twitter account and she’ll be answering fun questions themed around the book! We are super super excited about this chat and we hope to see you there! Just use the hashtag #MTMC18 at 8pm EST on Twitter! 😀

A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of curious photographs. It all waits to be discovered in Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, an unforgettable novel that mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that Miss Peregrine's children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

And that’s it for this edition of The Week’s Entrée! What are you all reading? 🙂
