Why you need to read A Kingdom of Flame and Fury
If you love stories featuring soulmates, political intrigue, kingdoms on the brink of war, dark elemental magic and heroines battling with inner demons, then A Kingdom of Flame and Fury is just for you! Of course, this book has much, much more. It follows Raven, a young queen who has been ruling Seolia for 15 years. As an orphaned child, she was chosen by the late King who had no heirs of his own when he discovered that she possessed magic. However, magic is FEARED in this Kingdom and Raven has hidden this part of herself as she endures the challenges of ruling a Kingdom as well of the insecurities of not having earned the position.
I am a fan of elemental magic and Raven’s powers were so fun to read about! She BECOMES the elements: water, earth and fire. However, fire is her most dominant element & it’s slowly becoming harder to control, to the point of thirsting for blood and darker deeds.
This book also features steamy romance! While it quickly introduces a fated-romance in the first chapters, things get more complicated as the story progresses since it also deals with a second love interest and several favorite tropes added into the mix such as fake-marriage and enemies/friends-to-lovers.
A Kingdom of Flame and Fury is just the beginning & so much more is to come with Raven’s journey! Definitely add it to your TBR.
