BEST BOOK BOYFRIENDS OF 2016
Ah, my book boyfriends! I’m super glad to say that 2016 was a great year for me. I fell in love with a TON more book boyfriends, and I also deepened my love for those that were already in my heart from the last few years. So without further ado, here are my top ten boyfriends of books released this year:
1. Tristan de Montigny from Warrior Witch by Danielle L. Jensen
You probably saw that coming, right?! Tristan de Montigny is my most favorite book boyfriend of all times and I am happily married to him. He is truly my one true love and I fell more in love with him this year. I was so sad to say goodbye to him as The Malediction Trilogy came to an end early this year, but then Danielle L. Jensen wrote a prequel novel were he often appears and my heart had never been happier. Just you wait until you read The Broken Ones next year! ♥
(P.S. BACK OFF, HE IS MINE) 😉
2. Thomas Cresswell from Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
I NEED A THOMAS CRESSWELL IN MY LIFE. He is the perfect combo between Sherlock Holmes and Cricket Bell (from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins). I love love LOVE him.
3. Rhysand from A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
AAKJDHDAJ!!! RHYSAND RHYSAND RHYSAND. So sexy y’all!!! I thought I loved Tamlin but NOPE. Team Rhysand all the way! ♥
4. Prince Aldrik from Crystal Crowned by Elise Kova
Another brooding Prince that I love! Prince Aldrik fits the category of tall, dark, and handsome, and it was impossible for me to not fall in love with him when I started reading the Air Awakens series. Have you met him yet?
5. Razor from Walk The Edge by Katie McGarry
RAZOR is my newest love and ugh, where can I find one like him? He has such an angelic face but radiates danger, yet he IS the sweetest boyfriend ever. I want one just like him for (what’s the closest date?) NEW YEAR’S EVE. Who said I couldn’t receive presents then?
6. Clark from The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
Clark is such an adorable book boyfriend AND a successful Fantasy writer. We would make such a great couple *wistful sigh*.
7. Ethan from Dead Girls Society by Michelle Krys
I don’t usually fall for the guy best friend who the MC has always been in love with because he usually turns out to be not that worthy, but this time I did. I basically crashed into the floor and picked up gravel with my chin. Ethan, oh Ethan, why are you so darn lovable?!? I need more of you right now!
8. Graham from The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash
And you must also know my feelings for Graham! But if you don’t, then I must tell you that I pray constantly to find someone as amazing as Graham. He might not be the brooding type, but his charisma and personality would be good for me. He’s the cute nerdy type and I like that!
9. Becks from Adorkable by Cookie O’Gorman
Becks made me smile and blush the whole time I was reading Adorkable. Such a good bad boy. ♥
10. Prince Galian from The Chasm by S. Usher Evans
Team Princeling FTW! ♥ If you haven’t met Prince Galian then you are definitely missing out! ♥
……..
And that’s it for my top ten. Who were your favorite book boyfriends of 2016? 🙂
I'm not quite up to date with ACOTAR, but I already know Rhysand would be my best book boyfriend of 2016. And, yassss to Tristan!
Hahaha YES, HE SO WOULD. Rhysand is… *fans self*
I LOOOVE Rhysand, he is one of my favorites too. I can't remember why I liked Tamlin LOL. Though I always liked Rhys too. I also love Tristan, Aldrik and Razor ♥
lovely choices! I'm reading The Dead Girl's Society right now. Its nice to see the best friend not turn out to be a punk.
