Dear Prince Galian,

I’m a liar. I lied to S. Usher Evans when I told her our date last week was purely “friendly” and just so more people would get to know you in a fun environment. In all honesty, I was definitely going for a real, romantic date because well, it’s YOU. I like you, like a lot. But because I like you and because I have your best interests at heart, I decided to keep it friendly since you are deeply in love with Theo Kallistrate. I’ve learned that when you really like someone, you should only wish them happiness and try to give them happiness, even if it means not being part of said happiness. So I decided to let you go… for now.  Besides, Theo is a wonderful girl and I know she’s definitely worth it of you, and vice versa.

However, I do wish to say that I really love your personality. I have to admit that the first thing that drew me into you was your Princely title and it might make me sound a bit shallow (okay, maybe a bit more than just a bit), but after getting to know you better (and knowing you are not really the type of brooding prince that I prefer) I learned that I would  still call myself lucky if I ever got to meet a guy like you. Because noble title aside, you are a guy, a man, that always looks for the bright side of things. You are optimistic. You are compassionate and driven to help those in need, even to your worst enemies when they find themselves in uneven footing. I like that about you.

There’s a lot more in you than you give yourself credit for, and everyone knows it. Even Theo. Even the King of Kylae. I expect great things from you in the following chapters of your life, and if there’s a time that you feel all alone, just remember that you have one more faithful girl from the other side of the page.
