What to expect from Unwritten?

Oh, Unwritten has my heart! If you want to step into a magical story full of beautiful imagery and the wonder of books (plus a realm where stories come alive!), then you must pick up this first installment in The Zweeshen Chronicles.
The story follows Beatrix who leads a life of missery in her hometown. Her mother died several years ago, her grandfather has lost his memory and his days are counted, her father is cruel, and the kids at school only bully her further.
And the thing is, Beatrix has a a secret. Books call to her, speak to her. She has wild magic in her veins and it takes all her effort to keep it a secret. With the previous guidance from her grandfather and his own magic, she can barely control & keep hidden these powers that she calls her “Furies”. Until it fails. Then the true adventure begins!
I am just IN LOVE with the world we are introduced in Unwritten. Stories and tales that we love come alive, even their book characters!!! Everything was so much fun to read about?! We get to discover and explore Zweeshen along with Beatrix while she struggles to find her place in this new world, understand more of her powers, while also attempting to solve the riddle her mother left her in a letter—the same riddle that those threatening the world of Zweeshen want.
Oh you will come to love Beatrix, WILLIAM (♥), and the rest of the fantastic literary characters that live inside this magical new world. I just cannot wait to dive back into this fantastic land of stories in the next installment because it is now certainly a new favorite!!

Pillow Design Inspired By Unwritten!
It’s been a long time since I’ve made a bookish design but as soon as I started reading Unwritten, I knew it was the perfect thing to do! The imagery and the wonderful cover itself served as inspiration for this design and I am so proud of how it turned out. What do you think of it?
