The Week’s Entrée #151

Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!

WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ANNE OF GREEN GABLES IS AMAZING?

So my sister & I just watched the first season of Netflix’s adaptation, Anne with an E, and it’s incredibly good. We initially had a bit of trouble getting into the story and moving past a few things regarding adoption that I believe were not handled that well (as an adult, we might understand, but not children) but after the first two episodes we were hooked. And now I’m suffering from withdrawal. I need to watch the other adaptations and read the books  ASAP because I hear they are even more amazing and that thrills me to no end. This series is sweet, funny, and heart-melting, and I cannot wait to learn more about Anne’s adventures.

And Gilbert…. ♥♥♥♥

 He’s just too cute. LOOK AT HIM! Be still my teenage heart.

Have you seen this new show? Have you read the books??? 🙂

…….
New books!

{For review}
From publishers, authors, Netgalley/Edelweiss, etc.

Huge thanks to the publishers for the access to There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins & A Poison Dark and Drowning by Jessica Cluess! Super stoked to have them waiting for me on my kindle (though I will have to read my copy of A Shadow Bright and Burning first!).

Also downloaded Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moïra Fowley-Doyle from Edelweiss because it looks so cool. Also received a review copy of  Holding Court by K.C. Held and it looks pretty cute.

Also have to review the The Replacement Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts &  All Laced Up by Erin Fletcher!

And Guyliner by J. Leigh Bailey!

My awesome friend and fellow YABCer, Beth, sent me this pretty ARC of The Sandcastle Empire! Will bump it up my TBR because release day is so close now (June 6th!).

{Purchased}

I bought a kindle copy of the Complete Anne of Green Gables Books by L. M. Montgomery because I am now obsessed and must binge all the books (for the first time!!!). Super excited about it. 😀
…….
To Read This Week:

I still need to finish my eARC of The Hundredth Queen by Emily R. King but this week I shall! I’m enjoying it so far and already looking forward to the sequel. And I will probably start with my ARC of The Sandcastle Empire by Kayla Olson as well.

…….

And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! What are you all reading? 🙂

    I haven't read or watched Anne and now I want! Why did you do this to me!?
    And… There's Someone Inside Your House… I mean, I'm so jealous you can't tell. I'm probably will be that "someone" inside your house stealing your kindle #justsaying.
