I really loved this quote from Matt. His character was first introduced to us as the typical High School jock who apparently doesn’t have a care in the world for other than himself, but he turns out to be a really amazing and mature person with so many interesting layers underneath his perfect appearance. Lauren was supposed to break up with him so she could get together with her summer camp boyfriend, but with lines like this from him, it was inevitable for her (and me!) to fall for him. 🙂

Yes! She was his girlfriend for 7 or 8 months but she never got to know him, thinking he was just a popular immature guy. 🙂
