The Week’s Entrée #48

Hi! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!
Last week was a  rough one for me what with exams and heart-breaking news striking the family, that I totally forgot to do last week’s post! Good thing I didn’t have blog tours or other important posts to share, right? I would have lost my mind.

But this week will be my week, I just know it. Things are still a bit shaky but I have a good feeling about it *crossing fingers*. I hope you also have a great week and you read lots! God knows that books always make people feel better (unless THEY break your heart too, bastards). 😉

Anyway, happy reading!
Book reviews in other sites:

I reviewed Shadows by Jennifer L. Armentrout at Kate Tilton, Connecting Authors & Readers
This has been the second book (well, novella) that I’ve read from Jennifer L. Armentrout and gosh, people haven’t been kidding about how amazing she is. One of the top reasons? Her totally swoon-worthy and sexy boys. Like Dawson in this book. Gah, loved him. I need to read the Lux series ASAP (this is the prequel novella).
Here’s the summary:
The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane.

Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.

Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren’t a complication she wants, she can’t stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she’s drawn in.

Captivated. Lured. Loved.

Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence…and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can’t stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.

Books I Got Last Week:

{For review}
From Netgalley, authors, etc.

These are all books that I’ve been dying to get my hands on! So excited to finally start Melissa West’s series and participate in Gravity‘s blog tour in honor of the third book’s release (Collide). And I’m also thrilled to check out Daughter of Isis by Kelsey Ketch and the third book in the Robbin Hearts series by Diane J. Reed, Sherwood’s End.
{Purchased or Gifted}

Alienated by Melissa Landers was on sale this weekend! I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy it, you can’t say no to sweet book deals *wink*. And my awesome friend Kate sent me The Elite by Kiera Cass. It looks lovely on my shelf <3 Must get the other books in the series!

To Read This week:
I’m currently reading Paper or Plastic by Vivi Barnes and man, is it cute! Totally loving every second I spend with Noah and Alexia. <3
I’m not sure what else to read this week, maybe Gravity? I’ll think about it.
