The Week’s Entrée #41

Hi! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving or weekend in general. Mine was awesome, I read a lot of books and I’m finally catching up with my Goodreads challenge. Only 12 more books to go! How are you all doing with your reading challenges? 🙂

The only downside of my week was that one of the ebooks I bought two weeks ago was faulty. UGH. Just my luck. It won’t open right and the pages are cut. Kobo’s customer support was so not helpful. I’m still trying to get it fixed. *crossing fingers*

Reviews on other sites:

I reviewed The Calm Before by Jules Hedger at Kate Tilton, Conecting Authors & Readers! This is the prequel novella to The Wilds, book one in the Reign and Ruin Series. It was a pretty neat read about three of the male characters of the series.

Here’s the books’ synopsis:
hree men. One girl. The stage is set for the storm to hit.

Maggie’s story did not begin with a fall into Palet. Before she gave up her life on Earth to enter the Reign Walk, her fate was long decided by three points of a triangle: Marty, Cirrus and Lucan.

In this special Reign and Ruin novella, spend time with the men of the Wilds in their final moments before the Daughter of Palet entered the room and changed their lives forever.

Books I Got Last Week:

{For review}
From Netgalley, authors, etc.

To Read This week:

These are my two planned reads for the week. Well, I’m starting with White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout (my first book from her, can you believe it?) and then I’ll try to get into The Body Electric by Beth Revis. Try because I NEVER seem to follow my reading plans. I always end up grabbing a different book *sigh*. Wish I could read them all at the same time. Wouldn’t that be great?

And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! What are you reading this week? 🙂

  1. Chronicles of Steele Raven–love the cover, and it looks interesting. I'll be looking forward to your review.

    I'm definitely not making my challenge this year I'm at 147 and I gave myself the goal of 200. At least I got fairly close 🙂

  2. YAY for an almost buddy review! Hehe, I posted my review for The Calm Before on my blog today, and I'm glad we're on the same page 😉

    As for the Goodreads challenge, I setted a goal of 70 books this year and I found myself already reaching 80 and still counting! You see, everything is possible so…Go Melissa, GO!! 😀
