The Week’s Entrée #31

Hi! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée

Today we are so getting ready to celebrate el Grito de Independencia (cry of independence) here in Mexico. We are going to eat cake, and then cookies, and then some more cake. Maybe some tacos before that. It’s going to be awesome. Yay for Mexico!

In Other News…

I have a new review up at Kate Tilton’s Blog! Fever Pitch by Ann Marie Frohoff is a novella that follows First Kiss, book one on the Heavy Influence series.

I really liked this novella as it gave me a taste of what’s to come on the second book in the series, Broken Notes. The series is about a young rebellious rockstar and his love for the girl next door. There’s drama, music and a heavy romance that will leave you breathless and wanting for more. Can’t wait to continue with the series!

Books I Bought, Won or Received:

Whatever Life Throws At You by Julie Cross (Netgalley)
The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma (Netgalley)
Zombie Ever After by Carl S. Plumer

    Challenge Update:

Today starts the second week of the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon, and I’m glad to say I did pretty well on the first week. I read 3 books:

The Good Sister by Jamie Kain
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
    Crane by Stacey Rourke

    and…

    To Read This Week:

Breakable (Contours of the Heart, #2)

    Tesla by Mark Lingane
    Breakable by Tammara Webber (audio)

I know, I know. I said I was going to read Tesla last week but Throne of Glass got in the way and I regret nothing. This week is the one though!

And that’s it for this week’s entrée. What will you be reading this week?
