Another Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Easter yesterday (if you celebrate, if not then a happy Sunday!) I was supposed to go to class today but the backstabbers of my classmates said we were skipping today, so yeah I stayed home and they DID go. Never gonna trust them again. (Sorry for the small rant, I love you.)
If you saw my post yesterday, you might have noticed that I’m participating in the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Angela’s Anxious Life. I’m excited to get my read on with those ARC’s I’ve been wanting to read for a while now.
Also, I finally wrote down my Book Review Policy! This is mainly for authors and publishers who might want to know my reading preferences before sending me a review request of one of their books.
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a walled-in city. By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten. Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of them, the vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself dies and becomes one of the monsters.
Forced to flee her city, Allie must pass for human as she joins a ragged group of pilgrims seeking a legend, a place that might have a cure for the disease that killed off most of civilization and created the rabids, the bloodthirsty creatures who threaten human and vampire alike. And soon Allie will have to decide what, and who is worth dying for…again.
Enter Julie Kagawa’s dark and twisted world as an unforgettable journey begins.

As she travels on a boat that brings her to Cantica, she believes that things cannot be much worse. Aaron has already informed her that the evil soul, Donovan, that is Satan’s right-hand man has seen to it that one of his most powerful generals, General Yuri, will guard her personally. She has also heard that the Demon prison is so tight that nobody will be able to escape. But she has to. She has made a promise to Adanna’s sister, Thema, that they would meet again.
This is the second book of The Bloodsone series. I need to read this one and the third book for Cuzinlogic, although I’m not very enthusiastic about it.
I’m currently reading The Uninvited by S.L. Morgan, the second book in the Ancient Guardians series. I have high hopes for this Paranormal Romance book, it has such a fascinating world and wonderful characters. The romance is super sweet too.
When I get done with this one, I’ll probably read What Following Brings or The Breath of Aoles by Alan Spade.
And that’s it for this edition of The Week’s Entrée. How is your pile of books stacking up?
