The Week’s Entrée #144

Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!

Last Saturday I had one of my wisdom teeth removed and IT WAS SO PAINFUL. I had a worst case scenario where the roots were hooked, so no amount of anesthesia was enough to make me not feel the pain. The reason why is that in Mexico they don’t put us  to sleep, so we are EXTREMELY aware of what they are doing to us. I wish they had put me to sleep LOL. But it’s over, I am healing fast and absolutely craving all the solid food. Send pizza and cookies my way in a few days, please!!!

In other news, we are having our monthly giveaway on Instagram! Go check it out and enter to win one of these pretties. Open International! ♥

New books!

{For review}
From publishers, authors, Netgalley/Edelweiss, etc.

I screamed when Flux Books approved my request to read this YA Adoption Anthology edited by  Eric Smith, Welcome Home. It already feels like a super important read. ♥ I’m also excited to read This Is How It Happened by Paula Stokes. I requested this book AGES ago, and thought I was never going to get approved until they did a few days ago. Cannot wait to start it!!!

{Gifted}

The lovely Danielle L. Jensen gifted me an audible code so I could spend it on any book I wanted and after much debate, I finally decided on The Night Circus‘s audiobook and it was THE BEST DECISION EVER. The narrator, Jim Dale, is the same who narrates the Harry Potter books and his voice is truly magical. Highly recommend!

To Read This Week:

I’m currently reading Geekerella by Ashley Poston and I’m LOVING IT SO MUCH. It’s so geeky and swoony and I actually feel all the book tingles (something I haven’t felt in a while). Hopefully will finish it today to get my review up on YA Books Central! Up next is DEfy the Stars by Claudia Gray. I of course will be rushing to finish it because it releases tomorrow. Why are all books releasing tomorrow??!?? Hope it’s a good read!

And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! What are you all reading? 🙂
