Oh wait! I do wish you guys a happy start of the week and I hope you are getting ready for Halloween!!! Only a week to go 😀
…….
I reviewed The Best Possible Answer by E. Katherine Kottaras on YA Books Central!
I really liked this book. It was a quick read with great summer vibes yet also emotional. I wish it had a bit more romance (because come on, you look at the cover and you think it’ll be big on it) but it was still cute. Definitely recommend!
Here’s the book’s summary:
A contemporary YA novel about growing up and learning that loving yourself is more important than trying to be perfect.

Ultra-high-achiever Viviana Rabinovich-Lowe has always had a plan—and no room to be anything less than perfect. But her quest for perfection comes to a screeching halt when her boyfriend leaks racy pictures of her to the entire school. Making matters worse, her parents are getting divorced and now her perfect family is falling apart. For the first time, Viv feels like a complete and utter failure.
Then she gets a job working at the community pool, where she meets a new group of friends who know nothing about her past. That includes Evan, a gorgeous guy who makes her want to do something she never thought she’d do again: trust. For the first time in her life, Viv realizes she can finally be whoever she wants. But who is that? While she tries to figure it out, she learns something they never covered in her AP courses: that it’s okay to be less than perfect, because it’s our imperfections that make us who we are.

I’m currently trying to read 5 books per week for the rest of the year in order to meet my Goodreads challenge (WHY DID I GET SO BEHIND?). Anyway, I will be reading Shadow Fall by Audrey Grey because that cover is so awesome and I want to know what it’s about and also The Tormented Witch by J.C. Beckham because it feels right to read it before Halloween. I also plan to read Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman, but this might change depending on my mood. Same goes for the other two titles. I CAN DO IT. *crazy eye twitch*
Haha, The Ugly Teapot. That title made me laugh. I hope you enjoy your upcoming books!
Hahah that title is so cool! Hopefully it turns out to be a great read 😀
Ooh, there's some fantastic covers here!! I hope you like Dash & Lily's, it's definitely coming to the right time of year for it, right?! 🙂 And omg The Ugly Teapot is such a funny title. ?
