Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!
Can’t believe this is the last week of July! I am WAY behind on my reading schedule, but I’ve been reading a lot more lately that I believe I will be able to catch up soon (I HOPE). How are you all doing with your TBRs? 😉
In other news, if you’ve been checking our Bookstagram and seen my tweets on Twitter, you might have noticed us talking about some cool Harry Potter recipes we made specially for Harry Potter month on YA Books Central!
We had a lot of fun creating these recipes & they sure kept us busy since YABC gave us our posting date. If you have time, we would love for you to check them out on the site! 🙂

I downloaded this beauty of a book from Edelweiss (it’s available for download to anyone!) My friend Becky from Book Nerd Addict tells me it’s an amazing read, so I am excited to start reading!
{Purchased}
I bought myself a physical copy of Graceling by Kristin Cashore since I’ll be buddy reading it with Alex from The Book’s Buzz soon and The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas since S. Usher Evans recommended it to me to satiate my brooding book boyfriend needs. I’m excited!!!
I also bought a kindle copy of Pawn by Aimée Carter since it was on sale for $0.99! I love Aimée Carter’s The Goddess Test series (one of my all-time favorite YA Mythology reads) so I just had to have it.

To Read This Week:
I’m currently listening to the audiobook of The Sin Eater’s Daughter and I am liking it so far. It has a prince (tho I’m not much into him… yet). I’ll also be starting on The Union by S. Usher Evans whose series just got a cover change! The new ones are so pretty and yeah, more visually apealing, but now my covers won’t match since I’ll be getting the new cover instead of the old one (which is still available on Sush’s site for those that do want to match).

And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! What are you all reading? 🙂
I've been wanting to read The Sin Eater's Daughter for a while. How is it so far?
It's nice. Not really what I was expecting but I haven't given up on it yet so that's good. It does have a love triangle in it, I think. Or it will be. 🙂
I love that Harry Potter pie!!!
I really loved Graceling and I originally had The Burning Sky but knew I'd never get around to starting the series and gave it to a friend.
I have an ebook of The Sin Eater's Daughter but still haven't read it. I think an audiobook might be a good way to catch up on backlisted books. Great haul!
Thanks!!! And glad to hear you loved Graceling, people have told me it is awesome! I'm not much of an audiobook listener but once in a while I fall into its charms. The Sin Eater's Daughter is a good audio, but I'm not sure if the narrator does justice to a certain character (she does this weird accent lol).
Not a Harry Potter fan (I never read it) but that's a totally cool cake!
