The Week’s Entrée #98

Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!

Wow, what a blast Armchair BEA turned out to be this year. It was a lot of hard work, even though the International Committee only took care of a small part of the event, imagine being the head organizers? Kudos to Tif, Danielle and Florinda for such a great job!

I forgot to do a wrap up post yesterday *looks away guiltily* but I still want to say that this event was so much fun and I enjoyed being part of the team. I made new friends with my fellow intl team members, Dany and Kelly, and I think that’s pretty cool. We did a great job together, ladies!

I hope to be able to participate again next year, but maybe this time I’ll be an on-site correspondent *wink wink*. I want to visit you NY!

Latest book reviews in other sites:

While I didn’t review any books on the blog this week, I did manage to publish three reviews on two sites! (Click on covers to go to reviews).
First off,  I reviewed The Wanderers by Kate Ormand on Kate Tilton, Connecting Authors & Readers which is about shape-shifters and circus life!

My second review is for One Paris Summer by Denise Grover Swank (4 stars) on YABC! It’s a cute YA contemporary romance that reminded me of Anna and the French Kiss and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. If you are a fan of either of these, then you’ll surely enjoy it!
My third review is for The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash (5 stars) also on YABC. THIS BOOK IS LIFE, Y’ALL. So amazing, so geeky. GAH. So much love for it!
New books!

{Purchased}

Snagged myself a e-copy of The Art of Lainey by Paula Stokes while it was on sale! I’ve been wanting to read it for a long time now so I am beyond happy that I own it.

{Freebie}

I downloaded the audiobook of The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury from SYNC! SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens (and grownups!) where they offer two different titles every week for 12 weeks. I love this program and they always offer such great and popular audios. Can’t wait to see which books they offer next!

Note: The Sin Eater’s Daughter is only available for download in the US, CAN, and MX.

To Read This Week:

I’m still pushing my way through Edenhart’s Rivalry. It’s just that… it’s slow. And I somehow ended up picking my copy of The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski and I am almost done and it’s really good and yes, I own the new cover version because my cool friend Eileen sent it to me ♥♥♥ and it’s pretty. I liked the original cover because beautiful dress but I have to say the new one fits a lot more with the story and a certain scene. 🙂
…….
And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! What are you reading? 🙂
