The Reader and The Chef’s 2nd Blogoversary!

GUYS! GUYS! The blog is TWO YEARS OLD. 

I’m still having trouble to wrap my head around the fact that two years ago, on this very day, my sister & I decided to open a blog where we could fangirl over our favorite books, share book-inspired food,  make friends, and basically have a place of our own where we could support and talk about the things we love the most!

It was the best decision ever. 
Today I’m the happiest reader & blogger in the world. My blog has been my safe place for two years now and I can’t thank it enough for the many doors it has opened for me. For how much it has allowed me to grow along with it. 
Book blogging has made me a better writer.
Book blogging has made me a better reader.
Book blogging has made me feel more comfortable at expressing myself.
Book blogging has introduced me to wonderful people.
Book blogging has pushed me to make my dreams come true.
And Book blogging has made me HAPPY. I am happy.
And I can’t thank YOU all enough, for all of your support and cheers and bookish talk. 
Thank YOU.
I love my blog so much. I love my readers so much. I love my friends so much. I love my authors so much. And I love everyone and everything that’s helped build my site into one of my favorite places to be. 
It’s been such an amazing ride.

    First off, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 2ND BLOGOVERSARY! I am so happy for you Melissa! You were one of the first few bloggers that I started following when I opened up my own blog and to see how far you and your blog has come, has made me so happy!

    I definitely feel the same way about opening up my blog. Being a blogger has also made me happier, made me feel comfortable in expressing my opinions and also gaining new friends (YOU, especially!) and exciting opportunities. YAY FOR BLOGGIN! *throws confetti*

    Also, for the past few minutes I've been admiring your blog because DAMN! I absolutely LOVE it! It's so cute and fluffy, exactly like a cupcake should be, hah!

    Aww, Melissa, CONGRATULATIONS MY DEAR! I haven't told you this before, but you and your blog is one of the blogs who inspired me to do better in blogging. I always get motivated whenever I read your posts. Your enthusiasm is too contagious! Haha

    You deserve all the love you're getting, and you deserve even MORE. You are lovely, and wonderful and I am so glad that I was able to meet you and become friends with you (thanks to Stolen Songbird and Danielle!). When I created my blog, I didn't know where to start from there. But as I made progress, just like you, it made me happy. I was happy to meet so many blogger friends along the way, and you're one of them.

    Congratulations again and happy 2nd blogoversary! That being said, I'm letting you have Tristan and Aldrik all to yourself for the meantime. lol. Here's to more fruitful years ahead!
