The Week’s Entrée #83

Hey everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!

Wooow, it’s been such a long time since I’ve last written one of these posts. Life has surely been crazy but not anymore because I’m FREEEEEEEEE!

That’s right! Last Friday was my last day of College and I’m so amazingly free. I will be able to read and eat and sleep and read some more. I’m still doing my internship, but that’s nothing compared to the heavy load that was College (plus I love the place where I do my internship!♥).

Anyways, I MISSED having time to blog. This last three months have been harsh but I’ll make it up.

I PROMISE.

Book reviews in other sites:

I reviewed Ashlynn’s Dreams by Julie C. Gilbert at Kate Tilton, Connecting Authors & Readers

This book has one interesting concept and I love how the story is told (through letters!). It’s not really action-packed or what I would call exciting, but it sure is intriguing.

Here’s the book’s summary:
Before she was kidnapped, Jillian Marie Antel Blairington was just an average bright, brave, headstrong child. She was excited for life in a new house with her Momma and new Daddy. Afterward, she’s all that … and so much more.

Held in a scientific facility, Jillian discovers her past-a family she never knew and a power she doesn’t understand. With her ability now activated, she can enter and even shape a person’s dreams. Jillian’s been kidnapped, and her Gift has been triggered, so she can locate and save Benjamin Connelly, a brother she never even knew she had. She’d better master this strange ability quickly, though, because her life isn’t the only one at stake. Her babysitter, Danielle Matheson, is being held as a hostage to ensure Jillian’s full cooperation. Slowly, Jillian begins to learn more about her captor and the other genetically altered children held at the facility.

Join Jillian as she tries to survive the training being forced upon her, find her unknown brother, escape with Danielle, and work her way back to a normal life once more.

  1. Hooray for being done with college! Now do you mean for now (as in this semester) or for good (as in you're graduating)? Either way – congratulations! 🙂 The guy on the cover of The Ark is stressing me out. LOL He looks beyond intense and downright scary. (Btw, I keep watching that first gif over and over. LOL I don't know what it's from but that little yellow creature is so cute!)

    • College! I'm graduating next week ;D and it feels fantastic! No that I see the guy on the cover, yes creepy LOL. Not my usual kind of read but I'm intrigued by it hehe. And Pikachu! How can you not know about Pikachu? ♥ He's from Pokemon. 😀

    • Totally exciting about college graduation!!! So now what? LOL
Um, I guess I've heard of Pikachu but never knew what it was. (I'm probably showing my age – ha ha!)
