The Shelfie Hop!

Hey hey everyone! Welcome to my post of The Shelfie Hop hosted by Bookiemoji & My Friends Are Fiction! Today it’s all about sharing our love of books, meaning photos of our bookshelves. YAY! Fun, right? I love taking a peek at other readers bookshelves. There are a bunch of other bloggers and readers sharing their awesome shelves, so make sure to visit them too by clicking on their links found at the end of this post.
Now, to my utter despair, I only own ONE bookshelf. BUT I love it so, so much. It’s home to all my YA books and I’m happy to share with you how fancy it looks all cleaned up.
Forgive the bad quality, my camera sucks! Anyway, that’s my beautiful bookshelf and all my pretties. Here are closer looks to each level:
From top to bottom, on the first level I have all my HP books (they never change spot, always left corner), and most of my hardbacks. I used to call it my “favorite shelf”, but that changed because it hurts to call them favorites when I have so many favorites in the second level as well. But in a way, I think I’ll refer to it as “classic favorites”. Yeah, that works since most of them are oldies.
On the second level I have most of my favorite paperbacks. As you can see, I have doubles of the first four of The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa because they are AWESOME. Ash ♥. Next The Goddess Test series by Aimée Carter and then my beloved copies of Stolen Songbird and Hidden Huntress by Danielle L. Jensen. And that little dude right there? My fondant figure of Prince Tristan de Montigny from said books that I made when my sister & I did a cake. A bit nibbled by my dog, but still in decent shape. Here’s another closer look!
Oh, that’s my to-be-reviewed jar in the corner. And a Shadowhunter’s tattoo. Most of the books on top are signed as well.
And the last two bottom levels are for the books that aren’t strictly YA. Some are MG and others even Adult. Except Twilight, totally YA. And yes, that is a copy of the new Life After Death by Stephenie Meyer. I begged for it and my parents bought it. Whoot! Oh, and my two beautiful e-readers. My Kindle and my Kobo. One won and another one gifted because I’m extremely lucky.
Whew! And that’s it. Hope you liked looking at my shelfies. 🙂 Now hop along and check out more beautiful pics from other bloggers!

  1. Beautiful shelf! I adore how organized it is. I imagine the longer you have this blog the more your shelf will grow? That's been true for me anyway. I started not really needing to keep books but now I can't seem to get rid of them. Thank you for sharing pics and participating!

  2. For one shelf, you still have a lot of books packed into it! I tend to not move any favorites from their designated spot either. 😀
