     My rating: 5/5 stars

I love this series! It only keeps getting better and better.
I can’t even begin to describe it. Ever since the first time I read the first book, I was completely hooked. Now, reading the second book, you will notice that it doesn’t lose it’s charm. It’s just as exciting and downright amazing! To keep this short and sweet, I’ll just try to tell you the general idea of this book with the least information possible.
Cealena is the main character of this series, who happens to be a very skillful assassin. She lives in a kingdom where fae and magic exist, although it is prohibited by law. For various circumstances in life, she ends up being the king’s champion (in other words: the king’s puppet). Now the king is the big guy who we all learn to hate. Celaena of course is no one’s puppet, she does things her way (she is that cool). Words get out were they say that there is a secret society that’s working against the king. Celaena finds out about them and she is torn between joining or ignoring since her real wish is to be free. She ends up investigating the whole situation and hopefully with that, she will make up her mind. Meanwhile, a lot of weird things are happening all around her, not to mention the super scary something that lives in the library (one of Celaenas’s favorite places).
I’m going to say it again: I love this book! It’s funny, it has romance, magic and mystery. It has great characters specially Chaol (who I still love, btw). I highly recommend this book, you are in for a treat. Although, who am I kidding? You’ve probably read it already! Now gimme Heir of Fire! 😀

  1. I read Throne of Glass last year and liked it but didn't love it. I felt like the only one who wasn't 100% into it. But I keep hearing the series only gets better and reading your review definitely makes it sound that way! Maybe I need to reread ToG and give the series another try.
