Hey everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!
It’s been quite a while since I did one of these posts and since then I’ve gathered a nice amount of books I can’t wait to show to you. 😀
Also, WE WENT TO OUR FIRST AUTHOR EVENT!
It was so amazing, you guys! My sister & I met the lovely Jennifer L. Armentrout, Drew Leighty (cover model for The Return by JLA), Mary Ting/M. Clarke, and so many more! I’ll write a full post next week once we get home and I’ll show some pics about the event and books/swag we got there.
Hope you are having a wonderful summer!

Dante Walker ♥♥♥ This arrogant, selfish demon is one of the most intriguing characters I’ve had the pleasure to read about! He’s a total jerk, yes, but he’s the baddest bad boy ever. Loved him! And the storyline is so so GOOD. You have to check this book out.
Here’s the book’s summary:
He makes good girls…bad.
Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence has made him one of Hell’s best–a soul collector. His job is simple, weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.
Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:
Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days.
Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of Hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect–he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions deeply buried.

This sequel is fantastic! I won’t say more about it, just that you have to start this series pronto.
And here’s the book’s summary:
Dante has a shiny new cuff wrapped around his ankle, and he doesn’t like that mess one bit. His new accessory comes straight from Big Guy himself and marks the former demon as a liberator. Despite his gritty past and bad boy ways, Dante Walker has been granted a second chance.
When Dante is given his first mission as a liberator to save the soul of seventeen-year-old Aspen, he knows he’s got this. But Aspen reminds him of the rebellious life he used to live and is making it difficult to resist sinful temptations. Though Dante is committed to living clean for his girlfriend Charlie, this dude’s been a playboy for far too long…and old demons die hard.
With Charlie becoming the girl she was never able to be pre-makeover and Aspen showing him how delicious it feels to embrace his inner beast, Dante will have to go somewhere he never thought he’d return to in order to accomplish the impossible: save the girl he’s been assigned to, and keep the girl he loves.

Books I Got The Past Weeks:
{For review}
From Netgalley, authors, publishers, etc.
YAAAAAY. I’ve been waiting a long time for this book. I’m excited!!!! The Legends Saga by Stacey Rourke’s are fantastically dark, funny and creepy books. Steam is the last book and I can’t wait to see how it all wraps up with the headless horseman curse.
To Read This Week:
I started reading All I’ve Never Wanted by Ana Huang and it will be my third ARC for ARC August. It’s originally a fanfic for the popular korean drama, Boys Over Flowers, and it’s nice so far.
After this book, I’m thinking I’ll read The Return by Jennifer L. Armentrout. 😀

And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! What will you be reading this week? 🙂
Love JLA! Happy you got to meet her 🙂
She's an awesome writer!
Hooray for meeting JLA! I've been able to meet her twice now (once at YallFest last year and once in Daytona this past June) and managed to not geek out and fangirl both times. LOL She was so sweet about signing multiple books and taking photos. I sure didn't get to meet Drew, though! Niiice. 🙂 I'm reading Every Last Breath right now and am super excited to see how it all ends. Team Roth! LOL Can't wait to hear more about the vent and see some pics! So glad you had fun.
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Yes to Team Roth!!! I hope it ends well *crossing fingers*. I was terrified to meet her. She was really nice, Drew too, but I could barely speak coherent words because it's HER. ♥ But it was a blast. 🙂
Crossroads, cover-*drool* Nice haul this week!
