Hey everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!
I’m excited, you guys. Today is the day I go on vacation! Libraries, bookstores and awesome places, here I come! It’s going to be tricky to be on the blog these weeks, but I’ll somehow find the way to manage it. Even if I have to write and publish posts from my phone I WILL DO IT. 😉
On a different matter, yesterday we featured another awesome blogger in The Summer Blogger Promo Tour! Sydney from Sydsaurus Rex stopped by to share with us her 7 Deadly Book Sins! On the other hand, I was hosted at Jillian’s Books where I share the Bookish Food Tag!

Now, on a more serious note, I can’t leave without saying how devasted I am for the lovely Katie M. Stout, author of Hello, I Love You. She was forced to delete her twitter account and other social media sites after being tagged by a reader who highly disliked her book and thought that it was a good idea to trash it on Twitter. I loved Katie’s book, and I respect that it wasn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but seriously people, is it necessary to say awful things? I’m sad and terribly hurt for her.
If you don’t like a book by an author, just drop it and MOVE ON. Your rudeness is not welcome and book-bashing is unacceptable.

Book reviews in other sites:
This is the third book in the Eternity series and it’s now my favorite from the series. This time the main character is a strong young woman, so maybe that’s why I felt even more connected to the story. If you love historical tales, romance & a life at sea, then you should definitely give this series a try. You can even read each book as a standalone so that’s a plus. 😉
Here’s the book’s summary:
Mary Crofter’s first trip on the water was just after her first birthday, when her parents came from her birthplace in Kilwa to Portsmouth. She’s been on several trips from Portsmouth to London and other places since. She loves the water and the water seems to love her. Can she survive on the water? Will people ever take seriously a GIRL as a sailor? Will she ever come off the water? If she does, will the lure of the ocean draw her back?
She was born to privilege.. but does she even know? And, more importantly, in a time of English Civil War, is it better that she doesn’t know?
This is the third book in The Eternity Series.
Books I Got Last Week:
Thanks go out to Esther from Audible for sending me the audiobook of Boo by Neil Smith! Can’t wait to listen to it, and while I’m at it, make a dent in my poor unchanging ausiobook challenge. 🙁
{For review}
From Netgalley, authors, publishers, etc.

{Purchased}
I also got the audiobook of Frostfire by Amanda Hocking! I had a credit, and after much pondering, I thought I should finally find out what this book is all about so I can read the eARC of Ice Kissed I requested without knowing it was actually a sequel. Whoops.
To Read This Week:
I’m drawing a blank here. I can’t decide which book to read next and I’ve been staring at the screen for a while now. Any recs?

And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! Hope you have a wonderful week. 🙂
Hope you have a great vacation!! And that is AWFUL about the author needing to delete her Twitter account. That is one horrible thing about social media: people feel free to say things they would never say just because they feel safe with the anonymity. It sucks. I have not read her book, but I have wanted to. But there have been many, many books I do not like. I have never, ever sought the author out online so I could attack them for it. Like you said, I just move on. That is crazy.
I know. It's just that readers often forget that authors are human too and NO ONE likes being attacked this way, and it's not right in the first place. :/
Great books this week. I am especially excited about Frostfire. Loove that cover!
I hope you enjoy these pretties 🙂 Happy Reading!

Thanks! I'm excited about Frostfire too. Hope it ends up being a favorite!
