Hi everyone! Welcome to the second stop/week on my blog in the 2015 Summer Blogger Promo Tour! This wonderful event was pulled together by the awesome ladies Amber & Jessica from The Book Bratz.
The 2015 Summer Blogger Promo Tour consists on featuring one blogger every Sunday from July 5th to August 31st for the sole purpose of making new friends and to get to know them better through guest posts, interviews & other funs posts!
This week I have the fabulous hosts of this tour, The Book Bratz, to talk about the stages of writing their reviews! Enjoy. ๐
******
The Book Bratz’s Stages of Writing a Review:
1. Adding the technical stuff. I put the book cover, title, author, rating, Goodreads link, publisher, summary, etc…gotta get all of that stuff out of the way first!
2. I explain how I received a copy of the book – from the library, a book event, a publisher, etc. Normally I receive my books through my favorite method:
3. Then I get into what I liked about the book. Which is normally a whole lot.
4. Then, of course, I talk about what I didn’t like about the book. But I don’t book-bash. I just state what left me feeling a little dissatisfied.
…Which some people tend not to like so much.
5. Then I realize that I didn’t write enough stuff to be a long enough post so I kind of ramble and beat around the bush and try to up my word count. (It’s like NaNoWriMo, all year round.) It normally doesn’t end up making any kind of sense.
6. I usually finish up my review by summarizing my overall thoughts on the book and restating what I liked and didn’t like. And of course, I give the author a shoutout, too!
7. Then I read the whole thing over, tweak any errors, and schedule it for publication! Ta-da, work done for the day!
8. …Just kidding. I have several more reviews to write.

Some of their favorite activities include reading, writing, sleeping, eating, and texting (duh). Today, The Book Bratz and its followers have grown tremendously and theyโre super excited to be the co-hosts of the 2015 Summer Blogger Promo Tour! LOL. I have the opposite problem. I tend to write long reviews, that probably half my visitors don't have the patience to go through entirely!
