Hi! Welcome to another edition of The Week’s Entrée!
Happy start of the month guys! I can’t believe January is over and February is here. Gosh, before we know it, we will be on Christmas holidays once again (yipee). But anyway, the month of luuuuurve is here and, even though I don’t have a real boyfriend (I have lots of fictional ones though) I like celebrating it. Especially since in Mexico, it’s the day of love and friendship. 😉 Okay FINE, I also love it because of the sweets. Chocolate, yum…
Book reviews in other sites:
I reviewed White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout at Kate Tilton, Connecting Authors & Readers!
It’s not much of a review really, it’s more like a fangirling post about Roth, the smokin’ hot demon that stole my heart. He’s sooo dreamy *sigh*.
Here’s the book’s summary:
One kiss could be the last.
Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she’s anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.
Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she’s crushed on since forever.
Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she’s not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn’t an issue, considering Roth has no soul.
But when Layla discovers she’s the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne… it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.

Books I Got Last Week:
Currently Reading:
I’m currently reading Once Upon a Road Trip by Angela N. Blount! I’m barely in a few chapters but it’s turning out to be a pleasant read. I especially like the diary entries that appear at the end of each chapter.
After I’m done with this one, I’ll probably read the sequel, Once Upon an Ever After.

And that’s it for The Week’s Entrée! What are you reading this week? 🙂
I loved Blount's books. Her story is so unique and endearing. Happy reading this week! Definitely need to read White Hot Kiss, soon!
I wish I had her guts! So cool that she's traveling around meeting her internet friends.
And about White Hot Kiss, yes, definitely. 😉
