This book is narrated by Lorraine and she takes us into her memories of when she and Isaiah met, grew up together, went separate ways and would usually come back to one another (but with a big wall between them). Her childhood memories were so sweet and innocent, they made me long to have had something as good as hers and for them to never end. I hated to read about how she and Isaiah distanced themselves as they grew older because I could only feel for Lorraine, yet knew nothing from Isaiah’s true feelings.
Both characters are very well written, yet if I had to give out a trophy to one of them, I would be thrilled to hand it out to Lorraine. She is an incredible person with so much self-respect, even when she was a teen or a child, she was mature and thought things through without getting carried away with her feelings like most people do. However, Isaiah is also a great guy, but you have to see him all the way through to love him fully.
All in all, Love Unfeigned is a pure and innocent bliss that warmed my heart and made me wish for it to be longer. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a quick read and I so hope you love it as much as I did (and maybe even more). 😉
