I don’t usually read horror/suspense books because… no, thank you. I get nightmares and I hate nightmares, so I really tend to stay far away from them. But, sometimes I wish I could read IT by Stephen King. Everyone has read it except me and fellow sympathizers. Soon I’ll try to take the plunge on a very sunny day.

I'm with the girl above, I tend to stay away from cheesy books as well. But sometimes you stumble upon a book that's cheesy and funny that you actually like 😉
mysteries and thrillers – I know that I'd probably like them if I read them, but there are genres that I like even more, and my time is limited, so… 🙂

I don't read too many christian books or literature. I don't read too many children's books anymore since my girls are grown.
I usually stay away from horror like you, but sometimes I wish I had the guts to actually read a horror book.
I do not read much sci-fi mainly because there are so many genres I tend to ignore them.
Historical Romance, nonfiction.
Don't know really… Non-fiction I guess. Sometimes I've come across some demonology books at a library or a bookstore and then I want to read them 🙂
I don't really stay away from a particular genre. I'm quite picky with sci-fi novels though since the "world" created in the book should be convincing enough for me to be interested in it 🙂
I LOVE horror movies, but never read any horror books (only read IT and The Shining by Stephen King).
I don't read much historical romance, but have been curious about a few titles lately. 🙂
