Oh man, Valentine’s day came and went so fast and we feel like it was the best one to date. Actually, this weekend was the best one of our lives! (kidding, but close). You see, we ate a WHOLE chocolate cake in two and a half days that we still can’t believe we did it. Scratch that bucket list!
And because I know you are so curious about it, here is a picture of the cake:
In other more important news…
The winner of the Valentine’s day giveaway was… Cara Rosalie Olsen!  *throws heart-shaped confetti* Thanks to everyone who participated! I promise we will have another giveaway soon.

Books I Bought, Won or Received:

I got approved on Netgalley to view 18 Truths by Jamie Ayres thanks to Curiosity Quills Press. I absolutely love its cover and I can’t wait to find out what it’s all about.

Lying is unbearable, betrayal is inevitable, and choosing which path to take is impossible.
Olga Gay Worontzoff ended her senior year as an eighteen-year-old girl totally in love with Nate, enjoying their new romance and about to attend the university of her dreams. Now she’s spending her summer in the weird subculture of the Underworld, with charmingly witty and powerful angels, and problematic demons, trying to rescue Connor, the best friend and secret crush she was unable to save during a freak accident.
But Nate has other things on his mind, mainly Grace. She’s their first assignment as joint spirit guides, and Olga’s feeling hurt and jealous. His mysterious behavior has Olga questioning everything she believed about him and now she must decide whether to stick to their plan, or follow her heart. Unfortunately, a series of mistakes threatens everyone around her and plants Olga in the center of cosmic events much larger than she ever imagined.
Only one thing is certain: the chilling truths uncovered during her journey will leave no one untouched.

I also received from Author S. L. Morgan (thank you!) the second book to her Ancient Guardians series. I loved the first book and I’m pretty excited to go back to Pemdas with Reece and Levi!

I will forever protect her with my own life…
Reece Bryant, a college student from Earth, had her entire life turned upside down when she discovered her true genealogy. Not only did she discover that life exists beyond Earth, but also that being brought into the dimension of Pemdas would change her life forever.
After she falls helplessly in love with the Emperor of Pemdas’ son, Levi Oxley, she happily accepts his proposal of marriage, and she couldn’t be more excited to start her new life with him in this enchanting dimension. Everything is ideal, and Reece has never felt more content in her life, until unexpected occurrences begin to take place.
Confident that Reece, the Key, is safe in Pemdas, the Guardians are busier than ever protecting Earth from other dimensions who seek to terrorize humans. After introducing Reece as his future wife into royal society, Levi and Harrison resume their duties on Earth where they come across an entity that the Pemdai Guardians have never encountered before. It is when this being is able to read into Levi’s mind, and discover he knows where the powerful stone is, that everything will change for him.
In this installment of the Ancient Guardians series, you will be left guessing as you turn each page, and wondering who is orchestrating the bizarre events occurring within the protected lands of Pemdas. Prepare to encounter the Guardians as fierce warriors, bold and unafraid to do anything within their power to protect the Key, which they have sworn to guard for centuries.

To Read This Week:

I won’t put anything new on the pile for this week because I seriously need to finish these two:
But if I have time, I might start with 18 Truths.
And that’s it for this edition of The Week’s Entrée. What’s on your plate for this week? Did you eat cake on Valentine’s Day too? 😉
